Our Head Professional James Weight and Assistant Professional Rosie Cornish, provide a first-class service to members and visitors alike.

Head Professional
James’ Professional career began in 2006, when he enrolled in the PGA training programme whilst working at Wavendon Golf Centre in Milton Keynes. He then moved to Surrey, to work at Coombe Hill Golf Club as Assistant Professional for 3 years, before moving on to be Head Assistant at Roehampton Club in South West London. James joined King’s Lynn Golf Club as Head Professional in the summer of 2015.
James began playing golf aged 2, on a family holiday to Scotland. Coaching began aged 5 and he soon became a proficient junior, holding a handicap of 18 aged 9. This quickly tumbled to 6 at aged 12 and was scratch at 15. Having had a successful amateur career, representing his home clubs of Woburn and The Bedfordshire, he went on to play for Bedfordshire County at U12’s, Berks., Bucks. & Oxon County at U14’s, U16’s and U18’s, as well as spending 2 years within the England Squad. He has had several wins as a Professional and enjoys competing in several events per season.
James is passionate about helping you to improve your game and increase your enjoyment of the game that he loves. Whether that be through coaching on the driving range and short game facility or practical on course sessions, as well as a full custom fitting service to optimise your equipment to help you reach your goals.
Rosie Cornish
Assistant Professional
Rosie's professional career in golf started in 2014 when she began her PGA training with the University of Birmingham. She has now completed her training and is a fully qualified PGA Professional. Before turning professional, Rosie represented her home County of Kent. This is where she first started working in golf, before moving to be Head Assistant at Dale Hill in East Sussex.
Rosie joined the team at King's Lynn in December 2017 and is keen to increase junior participation at the Club and is working alongside James in developing the Junior Academy.
